Sodding vs. Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding takes much longer to establish a lawn and sod installing gives homeowners the instant gratification of a lush, green lawn. Generally, hydroseeding is cheaper than laying sod (sometimes 1/3 the cost) but it does require a little self management, maintenance and time to establish.  Heavy rain or sloped areas can cause the soil, seed, chemicals and silt to wash onto sidewalks flowerbed areas and into street drainage systems to where sod will not. Sod installation costs are offset by added values of timing, usability, uniformity and visual appeal, reduced management and maintenance costs. If you have children or pets and have a small lawn area with less than 6,000 sq.ft, we recommend installing sod. Yes... sod costs a bit more, so you have to take that into consideration when it comes down to your budget.

Take the time to analyse your situation by viewing our sod and hydro-seeding pages. If you need help in deciding please feel free to contact us we are always willing to give you our advise.
Let's face it- it's not just grass.

It is the carpet for your outdoor living room. It's the first impression for visitors. It's your bragging rights with the neighbors. It's where your kids make memories playing in the sprinkler.

More than a lawn, it's your pride and joy. Or at least, it should be! There are advantages to either installing sod or having hydro-seed, it's up to you to decide what's best for your situation.
